- Follow Zeppelinstraße until you reach the first highlight of the route: the Brandenburg Gate Potsdam
- At the next intersection, turn onto Hegelallee
- At Nauener Tor, continue along the road until you reach Heiligen See
- Follow the road along the lake to Schwanenallee and from there head towards Glienicker Bridge
- Cross the bridge and follow the forest path to Wannseebrücke
- At the next intersection, turn onto Kronprinzessinnenweg and follow the path for several kilometres
- Turn off Hüttenweg onto Königsallee
- Follow the road past Königssee to the intersection with Hubertusallee, which leads to the famous Kurfürstendamm
- Take Leibnizstraße to the city centre: the route passes the Technical University of Berlin and Charlottenburger Tor
- Shortly after the zoo, turn onto Großer Weg, which leads through the city via a beautiful green area
- Follow the cycle path until you reach the city centre and sights such as the Jewish Memorial and Brandenburg Gate
- The way back to the hotel takes a slightly different route: At the intersection on Großer Weg, turn left onto Lichtensteinallee and cross the double bridge
- Follow the Spree towards Zoologischer Garten until you reach Kurfürstendamm – from here, take the same route as on the way there until you reach the hotel
