Current restrictions Wellbeing: where can I change clothes?
The changing rooms cannot be used due to the current COVID-19 situation. We therefore ask you to change in your room.
Current restrictions on Wellbeing: how does the waiting list work?
In order to keep the risk of infection as low as possible, only a limited number of people are allowed into the Wellbeing Area for a certain period of time. Cleaning and disinfection processes take place several times a day, in which the Wellbeing Area is temporary closed. To give every guest the chance to enjoy our new feel-good area, please let yourself be entered on the waiting list at the hotel reception. We recommend to wear a face mask in public areas. These may be removed when entering the Wellbeing Area.

Wellbeing: Can I bring my own food and drinks into the Wellbeing Area?
No, food and drinks are not allowed in our Wellbeing Aarea. Please use our free water on site or visit our restaurants afterwards.
Wellbeing: Can I cancel my treatments free of charge?
Please let us know in in time if you cannot keep your appointment. You can cancel your appointment at any time up to 48 hours in advance free of charge. In the event of a later cancellation, however, we must charge 90% of the application price. If you have booked the application as part of an arrangement, our general terms and conditions apply. Wellbeing: Where can I swim in the hotel?
You can do that in our indoor pool at the Wellbeing Area.  
Wellbeing: where is the relaxation area?
The Wellbeing Area with indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms is located in the basement in house D. This can also be reached via the basement of house C, past the fitness area. From house E, we recommend connecting via the shed hall and foyer to house D.
Wellbeing: Are children allowed in the Wellbeing Area?
Yes, children can visit our relaxation area. We ask for your understanding that we can only allow our little guests during the “children's pool times” Details about the children's swimming times 
Wellbeing: Can I bring my own towel or is there a laundry package?
Yes, it is allowed to bring and use private towels for the pool and sauna area. You are also welcome to borrow a laundry package consisting of a bathrobe and towel for a fee of EUR 8.00.
Wellbeing: Can I use the Wellbeing Area outside of the opening times?

Yes, we have a menu with delicious dishes, tricky puzzles and small colouring pictures ready for our younger guests.
Culinary: Can I bring my dog to the restaurant?
No, your four-legged friend has to wait in your room. However, your dog can accompany you when the terraces are open in summer if the weather is nice.
Culinary: is there a selection of kosher / halal dishes in the hotel?
No, unfortunately we cannot offer any dishes on site. We are happy to recommend restaurants in Potsdam and Berlin.
Culinary: Does the hotel offer lactose and gluten free food?
Yes, we offer a selection of lactose and gluten-free dishes at any time. Basically, all of our dishes are labelled with allergen information. Talk to us in person about your needs. Current restrictions: How is the room cleaning done? What do I have to consider during my stay?
The rooms are cleaned and disinfected before arrival and are kept free for one night if possible. We offer intermediate cleaning on request. Please notify our colleagues at the reception of your cleaning request by 12 noon. For longer stays, you can change to a new room by arrangement. Please do not hesitate to contact us about your wishes.

Are dogs allowed at the hotel?
Yes, dogs are allowed at the hotel. We charge EUR 20.00 per day for your dog. Out of consideration for other guests, we ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurants and bars indoors. We put a little consolation in the food bowl for your dog. You are welcome to bring your dog with you to the outdoor terrace and the open-air bar.
What facilities does the hotel offer when I travel with my baby?
In the baby bed waits a little surprise for your child (from 0 to 3 years of age) and high chairs are available in the restaurants. We charge a one-time fee of EUR 15.00 per stay for the baby bed.
Which special features are there when traveling with my child / with my children?
When traveling with children, we recommend booking a family room. These rooms are particularly large and have several rooms. Children aged 0 to 6 can sleep in their parents' bed free of charge, including breakfast. For children between the ages of 7 and 15, we charge EUR 10.00 for the extra bed and EUR 8.00 per day for breakfast. Breakfast for your child aged 16 and over costs EUR 16.00 per day. Can I book breakfast in addition to my room booking?
Of course, it is always possible. Our breakfast staff will note your room number and then book breakfast on your room, you can pay conveniently when you check out. Or you can contact our reception staff directly at check-in, they will be happy to help you.
Are there barrier-free rooms? Can I make good use of the hotel despite my physical limitations?
The Kongresshotel Potsdam offers 2 barrier-free single rooms and 2 studios, 2 premium double rooms and 3 deluxe junior suites, which are suitable for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility with an accompanying person. The hotel is easily accessible and equipped with elevators and ramps for the disabled. Please note that there are individual areas that are not barrier-free. Our reception team will be happy to help. Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
At the Kongresshotel Potsdam you are only allowed to smoke outside and in the Smokers Lounge by the Blue Sky Bar at the main entrance.
Who can I contact if I have forgotten / lost something in the room?
If you have forgotten something in your room or if you miss something from your personal belongings, we ask you to report this to the reception. Contact the reception team
Is it possible to check in early/ is it possible to check out later?
Depending on availability, you can of course stay longer in our rooms. For an earlier arrival, please contact our reservations department. If you would like a later departure, we ask you to announce this at the reception. Depending on availability, you can move into the room earlier on the day of arrival for an additional charge of EUR 60.00 or use it until 4:00 p.m. on the day of departure. When can I check in / when do I have to check out?
On the arrival day you can move into your room from 3 p.m. At check in you will receive a coded room card from us. We ask our guests to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure
Can I reserve a parking space?
Due to the limited number of parking spaces, these cannot be reserved. We will be happy to advise you on the various options upon arrival.
Are there parking spaces at the hotel?
You can park your car in our underground car park for a fee. Of course, there are also limited public parking spaces available near the hotel (5 minutes walk). Details about the underground car park
How far away is public transportation?
The train station Potsdam Pirschheide is only 500 meters away from the hotel. This is where also the tram, bus and regional train stop. At the reception you can get schedules and purchase tickets. Details for arrival by public transport
How can I reach the Kongresshotel Potsdam by car?
The Kongresshotel Potsdam is located in the west of Potsdam. Some of the navigation devices do not display our location correctly and may misdirect you. However, Google Maps shows the way to the hotel very reliably. Details on how to get there
Is the cancelation free of charge or will be there any cost for me?
The cost of cancellation varies depending on the type of booking. In the case of the early bird and weekend rate, the credit card will be charged immediately, free cancellation is not possible here. With the so-called "Best Flexible Rate", a free cancellation is possible. In the event of no-show, the hotel will charge 90 percent of the room rate. How can I cancel my booking?
The “cancel” button is located in the toolbar at the top of the booking mask. You will need your booking number for this. What payment options are there?
The payment options depend on the type of booking. In general, it is always possible to pay by credit card and in many cases the invoice is issued upon arrival or departure.
How can I change my booking?

Do I get a booking confirmation?
Of course, after your reservation you will receive a booking confirmation by email from us or an automatically generated one if you book on our homepage.
Can I book several rooms simultaneously?
This is not a problem as long as you have a power of attorney from the participants in the trip. Otherwise, you alone bear the costs of any cancellation. Why are the prices for the rooms different on certain days?
The prices change depending on availability and occupancy. Therefore, it may be possible that a room is cheaper on one day than the previous one.
