At idyllic Lake Templin, we are committed to protecting nature and resources. Our services are aimed at conference guests, families and wellness enthusiasts who want to make their stay environmentally conscious. Six electric charging stations for cars, charging stations for e-bikes and our bike rental service enable sustainable travel and exploration of the surrounding area. Our guests can also opt out of daily room cleaning. When it comes to catering, we focus on seasonal and regional products from Potsdam and the surrounding area. Daylight-flooded conference rooms promote creative ideas and protect the environment. Together with our guests, we are shaping a more sustainable future.

Our partnerships – For greater FAIR understanding

As part of the PLANT-MY-TREE initiative, we are actively committed to reforestation in the region. We support reforestation projects in Germany and the surrounding area and make a measurable contribution to environmental protection by offsetting CO2 where it is produced. To date, around 1.35 million trees have been planted. Our team actively participated in PLANT-MY-TREE’s 2023 tree planting tour and together planted 100 small saplings near Bad Belzig.

In the catering sector, every step we take to reduce food waste counts. As a conference hotel with several restaurants, bars and special conference catering facilities, we consciously take responsibility in this area by cooperating with the waste disposal service provider ReFood for ten years. ReFood collects around 500,000 tonnes of food waste across Germany every year and uses it as a sustainable raw material for energy supply, animal feed or in agriculture. Working with ReFood enables us to reduce food waste and contribute to a more responsible use of resources.
